Why we started this scheme
................................................................................................................................................................
The
greatest hurdle for a poor family trying to stand on its own feet
has been the sudden incidence of diseases and accidents requiring
hospitalization. Hospitalization expenses not only drain poor
family's savings but also push the family to the vicious circle of
debts. Life special occasions like births and deaths put strain on
the meager earnings of poor families.
In this programme, all members of the
SKDRDP SHGs join together and bring
security to each other on self help basis. The programme is designed keeping in mind Sampoorkna Suraksha Programme is
by the people and for the people.
